Fortune International Realty was founded in 1983 by the Defortuna Family. Since
then, the company has expanded to include brokerage activities, property
management, financing, new development sales and Fortune International
proprietary developments such as Jade Residences at Brickell Bay, Le Meridien
Resort, The Bridgewater, Jade Beach, Jade Ocean, Ritz Carlton and Artech among
others.
The company has grown internally, as well as through acquisitions. Early
acquisitions included Bayview Realty Inc. in 1985, followed by Iriondo-Ecker &
Associates Inc. in 1987 and in 1990, Stadler Associates Inc. Originally, all of
the company's offices were located on Key Biscayne, in 2001, 1300 Brickell
branch was added in order to launch the first proprietary development of the
group, Jade Residences at Brickell Bay by late 2002, The Sunny Isles branch was
opened and M Resort Residences, the second proprietary development of the
group, was launched. In 2003, due to increasing demand in the Miami / Ft.
Lauderdale markets, additional branches were opened in Miami Beach, South Beach
and Weston.
Currently, Fortune International Realty Group has 17 offices with more than 950
associates; including a very strong presence in selected shopping malls such
as: Dadeland Mall, Sawgrass Mills Mall, Dolphin Mall, Galleria Mall and Lincoln

Fortune International Realty has a marketing alliance with Bank of America, one of the largest financial institutions in the US . Each FIR branch hosts a Bank of America Loan Officer in order to provide professional financing advice to FIR clients.

Edgardo Defortuna |
Edgardo
is the founder of the company and acts as Principal Broker. In addition to
oversee all company performance, he is mostly focused on New Developments Sales
and PR. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Miami and has a degree in
Electromechanical Engineering from the National University of Argentina.
Edgardo is the President of Fortune International (Development Group), and The
Argentine Chamber of Commerce. He speaks fluent English and Spanish.

Walter Defortuna |
He
also oversees the overall operations of the company while mostly focusing on
Marketing, Recruiting and Finance activities within the company. He has been
strongly involved in the family business. He has also participated actively in
senior management and board positions of blue chip companies in Argentina.
Walter also participated on executive position within the Argentine Government
during the nineties. He holds a PhD. in Economics from the National University
of Argentina and he also is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). He speaks
fluent English and Spanish.

Monica Defortuna |
Monica
has been heavily involved in Sales, Alliances and Partnerships and Event
Planning at Fortune International Realty for over 20 years. She has also led
the restructuring of the International Division. Monica holds a Law Degree from
the National University in Cordoba, Argentina and a Master Degree in
Administrative Law. She also acquired professorial experience by delivering
lectures and seminars. After relocating to the US she also gain International
Law experience. Monica practiced law in Argentina for ten years as legal
advisor for several international companies and local banks, such as Banco
Comercial Hipotecario and Edificadora de Cordoba. Monica is a member of the
Board of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce. She speaks fluent English and
Spanish.

main responsibility is to coordinate the company expansion strategy. Previously
he was the COO of Netjuice Latin America, largest Internet Incubator in Spain

Head of Emerging Markets Origination at Santander Investments (Madrid), General
Manager at BCH Securities (New York), Vice President of Sales at Long Term
Credit Bank of Japan (London), Portfolio & Research Manager at Société
Générale (Argentina & France). He also was a Consultant at the United
Nations and Ministry of Finance in Argentina and staff at O'Globo. Fernando
holds a Bachelor and Master Degree in Economics from the UBA ("Magna cum
Laude"). McGraw-Hill published his book, "Internet Business Models – A post
crisis vision", a e-business MBA's handbook. Fernando is an Endeavor
Organization Venture-Corp. for Mexico. He speaks fluent English, French,
Portuguese and Spanish.

Previously he was the responsible of the Commercial Division at Terrabella
Realty Aventura (Florida). Before, he was an Advisor, locating and evaluating
Real Estate Investment opportunities in Florida as Project Manager of IDG
International Development Group Inc. (Florida). Previous assignments include:
Consultant of Teletech Holding Inc (Denver) & Bellsouth Movicom
(Argentina); CEO of Buenafuente an Internet company of ASV (Bs.As.). In
addition to that Fabio was a Developer and Owner of Faerman & Grosman for
15 years, Construction Consultant of D.B.N. (Argentina) for 5 years and Senior
Architect and President for 15 years of Faerman & Associates, Architectural
Studio, offering project design and construction manager services for retail
companies (Argentina). Fabio holds a Bachelor in Architecture and a Master
Degree in Construction and Real Estate from the "Universidad Politecnica de
Madrid". Also he presents some Projects in the Worldwide Congress of Architects
in Barcelona .He speaks English and Spanish.

acted as Branch Manager of the Main Office and the Coral Gables Branch.
Recently she has been selected to coordinate the legal department of the

actively in a number of committees such as the Board of Realtors, Manager's
Council and other non-for profit organizations. She has an Art Degree at the
Miami Dade Community College. Maria is fluent in English and Spanish.

with knowledge of all the legal, commercial, financial, technical, integral
development, supervision, quality control and human management aspects that
these projects involve. José Manuel is a General Contractor in Florida and also
is an Architect from Universidad Piloto de Colombia. He is fluent in English

and management staff of the company. She is an active Broker and holds CRB and
GRI designations. She is a member of the prestigious Master Broker Forum.
Elizabeth is also an active member of several Civic Organizations such as the
Lowe Museum, The Viscayans, Brickell Ave. Literary Sociaty and the Prologue
Society. Elizabeth is originally from New Jersey.

Oliver was given the responsibility to manage the Key Biscayne and the Coconut

the Beaches. Oliver attended Miami Dade College and has a strong background in
